Technical Requirements

Reporting of patient data is necessary and important for further treatment in another medical facility. The patient box should be able to display all vital data over the course of the last 8-12 hours. Furthermore, these must be stored externally for the long-term for all patients. This would require a LAN socket, as LAN is more reliable than Bluetooth. This leaves us with the following question:

• As the combined use of LAN and Bluetooth on one chip is problematic, what will allow us to use both of these?
