Per RFC ember-learn#976, the new Ember app and addon blueprints now install and configure Glint v2 by default. This post explains what changed (packages added, lint:types switched to ember-tsc), what's been removed (the v1 environment/registry pattern), how existing apps can adopt Glint, and how to opt out.
