Interconnection

In terminology, interconnection is a connection between LibreSBC and other SIP Entities that not belonging to LibreSBC, e.g: LibreSBC and Carrier/Service Provider or LibreSBC and Core Component (PBX, Call Center). The interconnection must define a direction, the direction can be inbound or outbound but one interconnection must be set 1 and only 1 direction.





Above graph demonstrate the interconnection between LibreSBC and others, There are 4 interconnections even 3 entities are existing.

  • Entity A connect to LibreSBC by 2 links: the first interconnection is for inbound and the second one is for outbound.
  • Entity B connect to LibreSBC by 1 link is an inbound interconnection.
  • Entity C connect to LibreSBC by 1 link is an outbound interconnection.
