Roadmap
This page shows the roadmap for features that will be added to Scambuster following the initial test release.
The first thing that will be added to the addon is an in-game browser where users can inspect the information on scammers and cases that providers have loaded into the addon.
This will include the ability to ignore scammers, and to see when you last encountered a scammer. The addon presently records information on the scammer's in-game features like their class, level, guild etc. and this will also be viewable if you've encountered the scammer.
At present the alerts functionality is quite simple, as most of the work in the project so far has been on the database construction and scanning side. An alerts GUI is planned that will appear when you encounter a scammer, and allow you to specify a course of action via some buttons (to broadcast in a raid, to ignore, to leave the instance group etc.).
The addon will feature the ability to display data on the tooltip of any scammer encountered in-game.
The addon will allow users to filter out messages from scammers in the common channels like LFG/trade/whispers etc.
The addon will eventually support user blocklists that will be shareable in-game with other players.
