Check-in (very brief update about what you've worked on in the past week)

This call was mostly a conversation among David Turner, Wojciech Kulesza (aka qlex), and Nick B-S about potential future OTP features and the roadmap, as well as how qlex and Chris can contribute to the project. Specifically, we discussed the following:
-
reporting intermediate stops in the API (so, e.g., front-ends can tell the user "get on the N train at Canal St going uptown, pass 14th St, pass 34th st, get off at 42nd st," etc). qlex or chris will ticket this and ping the mailing list to get feedback to the proposal.
-
our common interest in helping transit agencies reduce their reliance on expensive proprietary software
-
using real-time data when routing. We're all interested in incorporating this, but it's not presently on the roadmap; waiting for someone to volunteer to work on it or to get a paying client for this work.
-
the value of having multiple front-ends, some geared towards novice users and others towards more advanced users.
-
other pieces of software, including interactive system maps and time tables, and how they might fit into the project (or not).
