What problem does your feature solve?
The CI build and test times are too long, sometimes over 2 hours. This is causing delays in the development process and making it difficult to iterate quickly.
Cancel workflow button when clicked does not cancel the workflow (sometimes it takes upto an hour to cancel the workflow)
What would you like to see?
- Reduce build times by optimizing the build CI pipeline
- For testing rethink the number of test cases that are being run and potentially reduce the number of test cases that are being run on every PR. - Have a
smoke, daily, weekly suite of tests that are run on every PR , nightly and weekly respectively.
- Fix the cancel workflow button so that it actually cancels the workflow and saves us time and money on unnecessary builds and tests.
