Bowler Hats are mid- to long-range throwing weapons that deal damage and inflict Bleed I for 20 seconds on impact. Thrown Bowler Hats can bounce up to three times before hitting an enemy, dealing increased damage with each bounce against non-floor surfaces. Upon hitting a mob or striking the ground a fourth time, the Bowler Hat will no longer deal damage and will return to its owner. Damage from Bowler Hats ignores Protection enchantments. If a thrown Bowler Hat touches an item or lit TNT, it will carry the object with it.
